I am concerned about these babble forum. Because of the present policy, it could pose risks for the participants here. For example someone can get blackmailed, cannot forget reminiscences, younger ones can post things that they would not post later on down the road or it cannot be pushed the reset button. At best some power should be conceded to someone independent who would not put personal interests in front of the interests of the participants. And the policy must be changed so that it is compliant with the laws. Therefore, the policy must allow that posts can be deleted.
Since the users cannot delete themselves, someone from the student counseling service from the University of Chicago could be entrusted with deleting posts and oversight about this website. Somebody, who can be called via the phone. This also will bring some more trust and integrity. Since how it is now, it cannot be really trusted.

i made a suggestion about making babble a database, it's somewhere up in the archives, not sure if that gave a new idea, research previous archives on admin board.

he said per email that he is super busy right now, so i have some understanding. However, not all phrases were deleted, that I already demanded. He said that he desires some mutuality, but I do not think it needs any mutuality when someone wants back its property. Over a year ago I notified. But there was no response, maybe it had not been read.
the policy must change for the participants and for the compliance of the laws. Otherwise, it lacks integrity and trust.

no post got deleted but he said that he will do it in a couple of weeks...
I have somehow the impression that he maybe does not take his responsibilities very seriously.

hope that then nardil kicks in. good luck. and stay the course. It can give jerks when the dosage is changed to strong or when tapering off. but normaly not. but the evidence is that it works very good for anxiety.

I am not a law specialist, but as far as i know, in the us medical research
is subject to the HIPPA and the the regulations for the protection of human subjects 45 CFR 46
(http://www.hhs.gov/ohrp/humansubjects/guidance/45cfr46.html)Furthermore, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), also called the Privacy Rule,
prohibits health care providers (i.e. physicians, hospitals, and clinics) from
using or disclosing Protected Health Information (PHI) without written consent from the
patients. And for research Dr. Robert Hsiung would need an IRB approval. Especially when it is public. The PHI's can vary, eg. romanian slang already could be used as an identifier. PHI identifiers not only include names etc. but
Protected health information (PHI), also referred to as personal health information, generally refers to
demographic information, medical histories, test and laboratory results, mental health conditions, insurance information,
data that a healthcare professional collects to identify an individual and determine appropriate care and data that relates
to the past, present, or future physical or mental health or condition of
an individual; the provision of healthcare to an individual; or the past, present,
or future payment for the provision of healthcare to an individual. And Dr. Robert Hsiung clearly did and does "research" with it (or it could also be called voyeurism): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28657881
He also violates the copyright act.

The study is crap. U can't find out if that helps with 34 persons in 6 weeks for depression. the onset of efficacy alone can last up to 6 weeks. I can imagine that it could help to find a better medication. but for that it can take many years. Also many people are only transiently patients. And then you don't need the demographic data.

...most data u would not need. eg. family tales, slang, bad reminiscences etc. they also could risk to get depended on it instead of finding alternative treatments or they can get sick again when they return. However I do not deny, that some could profit.

First, Do No Harm ????? He harms me in my personal rights, coerces not to forget and sets me out to risks for his unapproved research and interests.

He has deleted practically nothing. No posts, no innuendos, references but only some few identifiers. Not for all but for some content I revoked my permission for usage that I had not given for eternity. A doctor should not coerce and act against a patients and participants will, steal the property as well as publicly host it as a complete personality profile only to take advantage for personal research and interests.
I believe that Doctors should abide by the law.

i did not read the whole HIPPA but some extracts.
but as far as i understand, for the data collection of the database that consists of medical data such as PHI mixed with other data and because he used the database for his studies (referrals of patients and suicide report) he must have had an informed consent and a written approval of the participants.

so, sls your a deputy and not dr. bob. according to the faq's you could delete posts or redact ? obviously, you can't be contacted per babble mail. but isn't it unfair that no part of the power is shared and conceded to someone independent so that it isn't merely an unlawful dictatorship ?
