i don't think it is a sparrow. it doesn't look like any sort of sparrow i've ever seen, anyway.
i wondered if it was a cuckoo... but i don't think that it is...
at least tell us what country one would find it in...

google search 'india birds' and the first hit was wiki's 'list of birds of india'. scroll scroll scroll... babbler. has to be one of those. got this one the 4th go. it looked sorta kinda similar... and there was a nice little story about the 7 sisters so i figured that was probably it. mostly luck.
