Not THAT grid.
Have you read Walker Percy. I feel that shrink found something useful to do with his life? Not many can say that.
I find myself having a crisis of conscience. Am I not manipulating Bob to stay on the board? How could he not see that. I find him less inscrutable than simply simple.

Perhaps you feel powerless to make Bob act the way you would like him to. If it was your intention from the beginning to leave a trail of colorfully-worded posts and remain on the board to submit more, then you deserve to be showered with kudos. However, your pattern of posting does not lend evidence to this notion. It looks more like you are having difficulties. I hope that you can resolve them.

It is difficult to know what to say, although I share your sentiments.
I truly wish the best for HC. I just don't think that this will occur here at Psycho-Babble, despite the resources of knowledge and experience to be shared.

Thanks, I see that as supportive, or at least trying to be supportive. Maybe it's asking a lot, but can you think of some way to help him resolve those difficulties?

That's not a good idea. At least not for me. No disrespect intended. I know there are many other people on the board who would welcome his efforts.

Thanks for your elegant and incisive reply.
That's one question off the table.

It's easier to escape slaughter if you're adorable. A homely duck escaping slaughter, now there's a story.
