What does adding "+raquo;" in the subject do? What does "+raquo" mean? I've not seen it before, so I'm curious as heck!

Raquo is a type of HTML coding that is used when creating a blog etc So the Japenese computer is picking up up the < > as raquo html coding.

You got it.
Usually, you can change a setting from HTML False to True, or On to Off so it won't show it as text like it's doing to Sigi. Can't remember....learned this years ago and not well either! but with the Japanese keyboard, etc...dunno. Sure makes for some strange looking post titles...:-0!
