WTH - Faye apologized above, so you or someone had to go all the way back to 8/2 to find another way to toss her? Did she have a chance to reword or apologize for that one?
How far back do you go scanning for sins? is there a set limit?
Bob, you frequently bring up transference issues - but you never discuss counter-transference. I have to wonder how you feel about Faye's ever vigilant presence here. Do you think it impacts your ability to be fair to her?

Japanese trains do not have conductors, surprisingly perhaps. I don't know how that worked, but evidently because the Japanese have not abandoned the public, unlike the governments of the Anglosphere.
Like Pat said, that wouldn't happen here or with you.I think it was Pat's stop. Her sense of right and wrong precluded apology.
Didn't she say something like that? I'd hate to misrepresent her.

Give them a PBC, then a little block, then up and up, employing the formula.
Scientific value free easy peasy.

Someone wrote me that Manic is blocked can't find it. If Fayroe also blocked can't find that either. Well that's what I get for going to bed at 3am and getting up at ll am. We work at night but still it's getting ridiculous. I have no idea what's going on around here anymore. Could someone fill me in? Thanks Phillipa

Bayleaf thanks I don't read admin much hence why missed Fayeroe's block. Manics I did find. Seems more blocked posters than posters. No wonder no posts on babble. Thanks for taking the time. Phillipa

Don't think the math will add up, actually. We just recall blocks (and our feelings/any controversy around them) more, it seems.
>No wonder no posts on babble.
Hmm...I though I read a bunch of posts today.
Just sayin'
Babble still has many non-blocked posters. We could always use more, though, for sure. Wish I could help by posting more now, but I am unable for several reasons. Hope it changes soon.

>I don't think they want to be part of something where someone can just come on and offend other people just because there was no personal attack, yet they cannot express why they were offended and how they feel. This is not a free speech forum. It's even hard to say things in the proper manner. You could say something the perfect way, in a non-attacking and constructive manner, and you still might get blocked for it. Can you blame them for not wanting to come back to a place where they have to act like a vulcan and never express getting upset about something?

She apologized for what I blocked her for? If so, that was my mistake, and I'm very sorry.
Her post: August 2, 2010, at 1:30:47. My block: August 8, 2010, at 21:57:45. Time to reword or apologize: almost a week.

I appreciate vigilance, it keeps me honest, and from missing things. I don't appreciate incivility.

Some people may find it hard to say things in a civil manner. If they're interested in learning how to do that, others would support them. But if they do the same thing over and over again, they should expect the same results.

Pretty much. Things like public transport, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, taxes.
>It's no wonder if there's more incivility than support. People might expect a faceful of cat.Whenever you talk about cats now, I think of Pat, and wonder if you were thinking of her too.
I don't know if others feel the same? There's less playfulness, certainly?
Is play support?
This is the end of the thread.
