I have no real expectation that you will answer in any meaningful way, but I'd still like to ask you a few questions.
I can't figure out why you handled the twit/face thing this way. Your method seems designed to cause the greatest possible uproar, the greatest possible distress. I can't fathom why you would want to cause this reaction.
You established a no twitter list. True, you never said the no twitter list would be binding, but we certainly got the impression that adding our names to that list meant something.
Then, instead of warning people that the buttons were going to appear, you just sprang them on us in the middle of the night. (I could be wrong about the timing. It seemed like the middle of the night.)
Even then I assumed that the buttons were only going to appear on posts of people who had not signed the no twitter list, and I assumed that the buttons would only apply to posts posted after the buttons appeared. Hard to believe I gave you that much credit for honorable behavior, eh? But I did.
Can you explain the reasoning that prompted you to handle this so maladroitly?
Thanks.

Does Impermanence know his/her post was Tweeted? Cuz if I was suicidal, that astounding violation might just send me over the fr*gg*ng edge.
I believe that you owe that poster an apology. I think it was BEYOND uncivil. I know it was a link to the "I'm OK" post, but it linked the Twitter world to the poster's "I'm going to..." commit suicide thread. That's NOT OK!!! It's time for YOU to apologize.
