Hi rj,I do "get da picture". Life can get frustrating at times when you feel misunderstood. But, your advice and views are just as important as others',
so you should keep posting and sharing. I enjoy reading what you have to say, even though I don't post much...sorry, my real life can get
very busy at times. What makes me excited? Well, besides seeing my little girl live her life to her fullest potential...driving up the snow-capped mountains in my car
with the top down and music blaring...and flying down the slopes on my snowboard on a blue-sky day. It's a lot of fun. :)What wakes me up inside? Seeing kindness in people, and watching my daughter's face light up as she talks about something she's proud of.
Little things in life...discovering new music, dancing, hiking, really good fresh fruit...simple things. How about you, rj? I know you like BH 90210, but what inspires you?

One possible outlook is that your frustration comes from not knowing if your posts were answered. People might read them, and formulate an answer in their mind, but not post the answer. They might even answer in general terms somewhere else. Who's to say what is the actual the impact of your correspondence here?
Some forums include view-counters that tell posters how many times their messages have been opened, and ostensibly viewed and read. That can be just as frustrating, if a post score a low count.
I've tended to open rjlock posts more than others. And remember them, too. You posted something about the titanic sinking and titans in response to something I wrote in the past couple days, I recall. It was sort of like poetry. Polite clapping would be an appropriate response at a poetry reading, but here, well, it's like a book - I just don't get around to e-mailing the author.
I could offer tips on generating responses, but please, fear me. I know dangerous technologies you might prefer not to handle once you learn how they can kick or cause blow-back.

What does that mean? I also hate to see unanswered threads as feel the person wasn't Heard. Even If I don't know the answer I try and at least say hi. Phillipa

Please don't be hurt. I understand how you feel because I have felt that way too but sometimes some of us are in a dark place and cant answer. Then when we can too much time has gone by.
I have been in some very dark places lately and can't help myself much less others. The other day I contemplated something I never thought I would and I came very close.
so it is not you, you are valued.

Hi - speaking for myself, sometimes I feel that my concentration just isn't up to par & I can't follow some posts.
Even the same day I might be able to follow other posts.
For me, it has to do with how well my concentration is going.
It feels yucky to get no replies, I agree.

>~~~ I would perfer: "oh ok" to being argued with and/or that I just don't "get it" and/or how my heartfelt advice is bunk. It can get frustrating over time.
Sometimes folks don't know how to respond or have nothing useful to say.

Sorry Manic - I guess I missed that one. Do you still have the link? What date was that post?
I don't always read all posts.

Not a whole lot else, mostly. :-(
