i read on another board here that messages get sent to twitter. i think that is very unethical unless it is clearly stated somewhere on this site where it cannot be missed, that such is the case. i did click on something in a post to indicate i don't want my posts on twitter. but still. is is true, let me start with that. is it true the messages from the pyschology board and any other board to go twitter? if so, why? i would think on twitter people could come up with their own material to discuss. obviously a whole post can't go on becuase they limit the number of letters you can use but still. i am confused by this and would like an explanation please. one post about it in the psychology board did not adequately explain the connection between that board or any board here and twitter. thank you.

It seems the petition type thread on this board is where others said they didn't want to be on twitter. I see the top of each board no longer has twitter info. I'm assuming not sure that it's not going to be used. Maybe others know more and will see this thread and answer hope so. Phillipa

Here is the post where Dr. Bob introduces the idea of Twitter.

You should read the thread to understand better.
I think Dr. Bob is just trying to bring more people to find Babble. Dr. Bob won't post identifying info.
There is an opt out thread if you don't want your posts Tweeted. Don't post your opt out elsewhere because Dr. Bob might not find it.
I love Twitter and would like to be tweeted, but it seems like I am the minority.
This is the end of the thread.
