Hi,
I don't think I have ever posted on the Admin board. I have never ventured out beyond the psychology board.Lately I have really been wishing that there could be a place just like Babble where I could talk with others who were interested in issues around their gender/sexuality/sexual orientation, etc. I would not want this to be limited to a LGBTQ group, btw. I am really interested in this being a topic for ALL folks.
I really like the Babble format and the community I have come to know on the psychology board. Is there a place to focus on this stuff already that I might have missed? If not, would others be interested in such a board? Would that ever be a possibility, Dr. Bob? Feedback on this idea from anyone?
While the psychology board has *always* met my mentions of these topics as they relate to my work in therapy with support and respect, I often feel like I want to talk beyond the limits of the subject of therapy and just tackle these issues in and of themselves.
Thanks for your consideration,
FindingMyDesire (FMD)

I can understand you not thinking first of the Relationships Board.

Hi Sigismund,
Well, maybe. It's funny. I'm really wanting to talk about myself in relation to my own gender and sexuality - not necessarily as it relates to my relationship. But I guess if I think about it more broadly - relationship to myself and the world... Maybe. I'll poke around and see if it feels safe there or if I find similar discussions. I'm hoping to not be the only one wanting to explore these areas. Thanks so much for responding and the suggestion.

Seriously there have been long threads in the past which relate to your topic. That board is usually deserted. Some might venture there to discuss your topic. Just a thought. Phillipa

I think that's a fabulous idea. There really isn't any specific board that covers those issues, which many of us struggle with. I can think of eighteen posts off the top of my head I'd like to make!
Hope it becomes a reality.

How about this thought, for now........
Use the Relationships Board & think of a Subject Line that would make it clear what the discussion was about. Or even explain in the first sentence of the first post on that specially titled 'thread'?
Then that whole thread could be about those topics for people who specifically want to have that type of discussion. That might work?

This is the end of the thread.
