It was my understanding from Dinah that blocked posters are allowed to receive babble mail. I since have talked to several people who sent mail. It worked before my block, and after. I'm now seeing a yellow light under my name signifying you have mail held for me for some reason? For 10 days?
Either way, could you send it through the normal channels asap please?

I'm not really sure what that would mean. I'll forward this link on to Dr. Bob, and you might want to email him yourself. Deputies aren't able to do the technical stuff.
He doesn't read Admin as often as I wish he would, so email is faster.

Sorry, a yellow light where? Babblemail's supposed to go through, not be held anywhere...

Hi Dr. Bob,I was blocked for one week 1/17/09. Dinah mentioned that I was allowed to receive babble mails. I thought it strange when I didn't receive any as several people said they sent them, and it indicated to them the messages were sent.
As soon as my week was over, I started receiving new babblemails again. However, my name on the babble mail box is lit up in bright yellow, as is my name in any post I make. I'm looking at it now.
I geuss what concerns me is that my babblemail stopped and started exactly in time with my block.
In addition, I would really like to have the mail from when I was gone.
(Also I feel a little marked with this yellow behind my name,lol did I do something wrong?)

FYI....No one's probably seeing your name in yellow. It's blue for me, which is because those are my browser settings for a link I haven't followed yet. If I were to click on your name, it would then turn purple (for me) as a link I have followed. You'll notice screen names of posters with their Babblemail turned off are in ordinary black text because they aren't linked to the Babblemail form, or links at all.
On IE and Mozilla Firefox you can set these colors to whatever you like, so yours must be yellow for a link you have not clicked on.
I can't help with the specific Babblemail thing Dr. Bob is talking with you about, but I did want to explain what I know about names showing different colors.

Thanks for the update! I actually don't care if people see my name in yellow, haha. Its just that I found a page in the technical stuff that says that its yellow because I have uncollected mail. Which makes sense because I didnt get any that was sent during my block. Just those 7 days. So some how it got turned off/on and my mail should be stored somewhere.
Its a little wierd but I'm not too worried about it. I would like my mail though!! There were people that didn't know I got blocked and I'd like to get the mail to explain, etc.
In the whole scheme of things, not a big deal. (Except I thought they all forgot me :-( I got lonely, sniff sniff)

Hi Dr. Bob,
Thank you for showing concern about my mail. However, this just doesn't really seem a priority right now. If you guys find my mail I would be REALLY happy to get it. You may want to find out where the glitch is, but that's up to you of course.
