Recently three or four babblers have contacted me via e-mail as passwords no longer work. Or in trying to change name the notification send to them did not work when they did whatever was required forgotten what been a long time. I have to say the deputies have been emensley helpful but if the poster has to wait for a response from an e-mail to Dr. Bob that takes a long time. So that is why I feel a lot of boards are empty of posting. Just my take on it. Need deputies to be able to access this info anyone agree or disagree? Love Phillipa

I don't want access to anyone's actual email addresses. Ever. And hopefully Dr. Bob will never consider giving it. I wouldn't be at all comfortable with that. Opens up way too many potential cans of worms.
I don't have any suggestions, as long as if each of these people have already checked their spam/bulk folders for messages from the server, and tried more than once to to do what they want to do. They can email the deputies (addresses in the FAQ) , if they like. Maybe we can figure out what going wrong in each case if they tell us exactly what they did, etc.
If they put something like "!!Psycho-Babble!! Can't log on " in their email subject lines to Dr. Bob, it should help with the time thing, as he will notice they are related to Babble.
I'm not sure if 3-4 Babblers who haven't been posting would change the # of posts on the boards a great deal, but maybe.

No, not unless I know precisely what they are typing in, on what screens, and where the error is happening. And even then it could be a technical thing that only Dr. Bob can track down.
They can email Dr. Bob again, with specific information on what they did, or email me, if they'd like. Not enough information to even guess - sorry. -- 10der
