Its time for me to think up an exit strategy as this thing has consumed too much of my time and energy. My coworkers told me yesterday that I have been crabby lately.
Speaking of pulling out, this incident has a familiar smell to me. In Nam we withdrew after claming to have trained the local army well enough to fend for itself. The new president will likely use a similar strategy in Iraq. Bob seems to be instituting his new democratic measure in anticipation of his withdrawl. He must have been surpised when the populus leader quit. You can bet Fidel would have responded if his brother had balked. I protested Viet Nam and the invasion of Iraq is among the darkest times in American history, in my opinion. But I supported the Hsuing regime. I feel wounded when he is exposed.
My withdrawl from Babble before was because it was doing me more harm than good. Deja vu. Unlike Bob, there will be some wide-eyed manic depressive eager to replace me.

I too am leaving..I feel the same..some other bipolar will take my place. It's not that I don't feel "safe" here..I just feel the management of this site is not my cup of tea. I will miss the people on babble, but not the constant blocks and rules and reg..

I find myself only checking Admin for updates to see if he finally came clean with all of us but alas, it's a waste of energy. I have loved this site, for me it has been a lifesaver. First, I found others like me, and second, while not everyone shared my weird brain cooties they tried to understand and support me or just listened and supported me:)
But then ole' Bob to the rescue to ruin a good thing. To undermine all the things he claims to stand for by just doing NOTHING. I can't hardly look at the opening above the threads without be cynical now for I know he wrote those words without really meaning them.
Yes, we can all be replaced, but how sad is that. I will miss you, Toph, you and KK always made me smile when I was taking myself too seriously or I was too depressed to smile on my own. I might not have posted, but I read your threads and just cracked up :) I enjoy your humor. It is contaigous. (mispelled but oh well) But Bob has broken something here and I am not sure it can be mended.
This reminds me of country song, something like, "You done me wrong". oh well, i guess in the here and now, he don't care either (should be another country song line too).
For what it is worth, I don't think you can be replaced.
