So it's been 7 days since Dinah posted her resignation. 7 DAYS. And we have heard nothing from good old trustworthy Bobby. Not a "We will miss you Dinah, thanks for your service". Not a, "heres a simple review of the new rules". What have we heard? Painful silence.
I feel worst here for Dinah. She deserves some recognition from Bob for her long-time efforts to make babble a better place.
Wonderful, what a nice way to drive away posters. You should be ashamed for this kind of non-response, but I'm sure you aren't, because we aren't human beings to you, are we? I know, this is a hard one for you to understand this concept when you have no empathy or sense of care, huh?
If we were experimental mice, as you probably see us, you would be bagging us and putting us under the fume hood with CO. Another experiment finished (failed), right Dr.? Just standard procedure. Thanks!
And block me if you want, I couldn't care less anymore. You have no power over me whatsoever. None. But you should feel pretty happy with yourself for the hurt and anger you have caused so many people here you smug b*stard. F*ck you and your so called "civility". The only "civil" thing here to do is to leave.

(And remaining deputies, please think twice about blocking this, I would feel pretty bad if I was in your position, totally ignored and unsupported by your leader. Sometimes these things need to be said. I would like Bob to block this personally)

I'm pretty sure that Dr Bob will be getting to this mess eventually.
I plan to stay on here posting in the meantime until such time I hear of his replies to our pleas for an explanation. Faith? Not really, but I consider that we haven't yet heard what really happened, so I'm sticking around to find out, from the horse's, er, mouth, so to speak.
It's been a really unpleasant time for all of us. I really appreciate all the support that we've been able to give each other here on these threads and in the babblemails and emails that I've been receiving in these past few days. They just seem to say to me what Babble has been all about all this time - support and encouragement from like minded people.
Even in such a troubled time, I'm grateful for all of your companionship and how we've been able to reach out to each other.
