For a while I've been unable to post messages under my previous username 'Wittgenstein' - I'm still able to send babblemails (strangely enough) but when I try to submit a post I get a message saying my account needs to be updated/the password is invalid. I've tried to re-enter my password but it's not correct.
So I've set up a new account under the name of Wittgensteinz. I'm happy to go on using this username instead but if it is possible to have my original name, that would be great.
Thanks,
witti

In the first place, the real Wittgenstein would have wondered why you're hung up with any variation of his name and your need for a name. Seriously, WWWD?
Now you quibble about spelling and arguing about getting the name "Wittgenstein" back. Get a grip. You're refuting Wittgenstein with your efforts.

In ieder geval was dit niet leuk, maar in dit moment voel ik zo slecht met mijzelf dat jouw woorden heb me veel pijn gebracht. Nu huil ik. Het spijt me :(
I'm so pathetic. I hate myself.

Sorry it was pathetic of me to write it that way. It means:
"In either case, that wasn't nice, but in this moment I feel so bad about myself that your words brought me much pain. Now I'm crying. I'm sorry."
I cannot be angry without turning it on myself. I'm really not 'myself' at this moment anyway. I'm normally quite together.

I don't think you should worry about Verne's response. I feel like Verne was particularly angry yesterday. Did you notice he got a 1 year (YEAR) block for another post that I felt was ver angry and accusatory? I feel that there was some anger that was really misdirected towards you, and you didn't deserve it at all. Please don't feel bad.

But wouldn't refuting wittgenstein be a really staggering accomplishment in philosophic circles? I don't think you would make a young girl cry on purpose at least not in a bad way.supportively yours

I'm sorry you feel bad. I'm sorry you turn all your anger on yourself.
I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to work things out with verne directly because of bob's yearlong block. I'm sorry bob left it on the board for you to read and continues to leave it on the board which prolongs the experience.
I'm sorry Alexandra K isn't here to talk about Wittgenstein with you because Bob blocked her for a staggering length of time too.
Supportively yours

Thanks for the replies/bmails. Sorry I haven't replied to them yet. I guess I'll have to stick with Wittgensteinz - no reply from admin on that, so I needn't have bothered posting.
I was just feeling vulnerable yesterday afternoon (European time zone) when I checked for a reply, that's why it got to me.
I did have a conversation one time with Alex about philosophy. I imagine Wittgenstein (being an intellectual snob) would have been very irritated if a publisher had published his tractatus under the name of Russell or some other 'second rate' philosopher :)

Only Dr. Bob can help with registration problems, and it generally takes a while for him to get to them. I hope you'll feel free to post under this name until he has time to help you.

Hi - I don't think you posted anything strange, pathetic, or any other put-down-type word!!
Sounds like you put yourself down & blame yourself for things when there is absolutely NO reason to do so. Hope you can be more gentle with yourself.
(((((you))))))
hugs, kath
