Why can somebody come on this board and say something like "you guys are suckers", get no PBC, and yet when somebody makes a simple responce (elanor) she gets a PBC?

The poster in question was asked to be civil, and was then blocked on another thread. While we're certainly not perfect, and many times are only aware of problems after someone has used the notification system, we do act on issues like this one as soon as we find them.

I issued two warnings to this poster on different threads, including a warning that the next infraction of site guidelines would result in a block. Dr Bob followed up the next day by blocking him.

This seems like a good opportunity to remind everyone of two things: follow ups to administrative actions should be directed to the Administration board, rather than posted on the original board; and to use the Notify Administrators button to report problems, rather than responding directly in ways that violate the civility guidelines here. The second of those points is why Elanor was asked to be civil.
