Trivial - Is that a muffin in picture?

Posted by Lonely on August 4, 2007, at 14:33:29

Is that a muffin in the photo at the top of the page? It's on a pretty blue and white plate. At first I thought it was a small individual sized pie. Then I thought it was a candle that had been partially burned as the edges appear to turn in slightly. Then I noticed the muffin (cupcake) pan close by and decided it must be food.

Of course, I had just been thinking I need to stop eating so compulsively <wink> when I noticed the picture!!! That's probably why I noticed it! <grin> Now I need a photo of someone doing water exercise! <bigger wink>

Hi Lonely, as you see, miss Karen Kay above is trying to further impinge upon my busy life by appointing me board Vice Administrator. I've declined, but to wean her slowly, I'll go ahead and field this one too. (Altho someone may beat me to it, as this is a hot subject around here right now.)

That's a picture of a butter tart, a Canadian delicacy, procured by Larry Hoover for last year's Babble party. It has since become Babble's mascot foodstuff. There is a thread or two going on about the pic and/or butter tarts now, and miss Lurpsienoodle even found a great recipe for them. (I'm sure Larry has one too.)

Oh, now I see, 10!!! Read all the postings but STILL want those butter tarts (and I wasn't even at the real time meeting with the real time tarts!). I noticed that there is recipe someplace .. apparently refined somehow. Is there any way to get it? I'll post on the Social board too. Again, thanks for giving me the links.
