When we do a post notification, who gets the notification? Does Dr. Bob automatically get all of them or does a deputy have to send them to him to look over?

Good question I'd like to know too. I would think if you directly E-mail Bob they would go directly to him? Love Phillipa

My understanding is that all deps get them, AND Bob as well. Though these days I doubt if he actually looks at them.
You can also choose to e-mail Bob directly if there is a private communication you wish to have with him.
There was a thread on that stuff too,
but how to find???
Aaaarrrggghhhh.

> My understanding is that all deps get them, AND Bob as well.
That is exactly correct. They are automatically emailed, at the same time, by the server to a list where all deputies and Dr. Bob can read them immediately. Most, if not all, deputies and Dr. Bob also have the list auto-forward these messages to an email address of their choosing, so they are available that way, too.
> Though these days I doubt if he actually looks at them.
He actually does. Perhaps not 100%, especially if we have already acted (and he's unaware of any further requests/complaints/objections about that post), but he does. It's not so much a matter of 'if' as it is of 'when.'
> You can also choose to e-mail Bob directly if there is a private communication you wish to have with him.
Very true :-)
Thanks for helping, muffy :-)

(although the FAQ hasn't yet been updated by Dr. Bob to remove gg's name)
I remember giving out a warning a while back to another poster for something said *to* you...I'd show you, but that wouldn't be polite or civil. But, maybe you never saw it or returned to that thread. {shrug} Doesn't matter, but maybe this does show another reason (people not realizing who current deps. are) for us to keep using this other name when posting officially.
see ya' round
This is the end of the thread.
