Anyway to have a thread of old and new name changes till we have a chance to learn the new one or please babblemail your friends and the ones you seem to post the most here with and let them know? Love Phillipa keeping the same one for now.

Phillipa,
I'm sure that if someone you know wants to share their new name with you, they will. I can't imagine any of the folks you've developed relationships with here forgetting to let you know.

That would be my question also.
The FAQ states we only need post we changed to a new posting name without disclosing our previous name. Did something change?
I would just as soon post and not tell. On a forum no matter how familar we may think we are with someone we still may not really know them, so whats the big deal to change a posting name?

PJ, just think of it as practice for being gracefully confused for when you get older.

Because for a while it looked like they were coming in left and right. But now it has settled down. Any reason not to ask a question? Love Phillipa

Maybe. I think it's infringing on privacy when I note the behavior of requesting COULD a poster who has changed their ID let it be known to you by posting, babblemail, email, carrier pigeon, whatever. The board doesn't require this and I don't think posters should ask. I feel annoyed when I read this request.

As I've said before - I wish I knew what the OLD name was when people say posting under a new name.
