How could Racer be responsible for Dr. Bob's decisions about PBCing or blocking her? Please don't hold against her what's the responsibility of another.

Racer can only work from her understanding of Dr Bob's policies, her knowledge and critical thinking skills in assessing posts, and her heart. And she's doing a bang-up job in difficult circumstances. I'd sure hate to see anyone make those circumstances more difficult because of their feelings about someone else.

I care about rayww. I didn't know her gender.

It's nice to see you again.

I think the question WWBD? might be answered by looking at WDBD in the past.

I'm not holding it against her! What a thought! I thought the actions of Bob towards her were compassionate and I'm encouraging the widespread adoption of those standards for everyone:)

Personal experience is an excellent source or understanding don't you think? That was all I was saying.

Thanks for your thoughts gg.

As KK pointed out, the rule is that answering a PBC with more of the behavior which led to the PBC results in a block.

As GG pointed out, it was always Dr Bob's decision about whether or not to block me. I resent your repeatedly bringing it up as though I was the one responsible for whether or not I was blocked.

I am trying to do my best as a deputy. I don't make the rules, and I try to interpret them in favor of the posters here. However, I believe that having the rules we have here protect the people who post here, and will therefore continue to do my best to enforce them. I will do this because I believe it is for the good of the community as a whole. If anyone thinks that's wrong, well, we're all entitled to our own beliefs.

We're just not always entitled to express them the way we might want to.

That's true but oftener you haven't ! » Racer

You made my point for me. That's the only reason I brought up your blocks. No need to do it again.

Rayww was NOT responsible for being blocked for six weeks either. You were responsible in the same way bob was responsible for your lack of blocks.

I would respectfully suggest that concerns regarding preferential treatment by or of deputies or differential treatment of posters be addressed directly to Dr. Bob. Publicly debating subjective beliefs of this nature will almost always lead to hurt feelings and uncivil comments.

But, again, that's just my opinion.

And back then you were wondering whether to marry Prince William.

I shall continue to pay attention.

Thanks for explaining Mel.

Does it matter to you whether people think you are male or female? I think you are female? But when I first saw your name I wasn't sure because I usually think of Mel as a man's name.

I don't think it does matter to me. But I try to honour the preferences of others if they have any.

i have a very good friend (who dodges me at every chance, go figure???) named Mel (did i just capitolize (or is it capitalize?) something?), short for melinda.

but, in indiana, we aren't too keen on words with more than one syllable either. (hence my nickname, 2 letters)

Actually I don't much care about a person's gender - at least not here. Purely by chance I happened to know this one.

As for mine? Go by the "Auntie" part, not the Mel.

"Aunty Jack" was a show here in the 70s.

Aunty Jack's signature line was 'I'll rip your bloody arms off'.

Ray gets blocked for the same thing over and over again. There are consequences for doing this; ray of all people should know this.

Ray is totally responsible, there were many warnings.

In response to what can be posted, I do not think that rayww's statement in question merited a block.
I would like to email concerning this if one would like.

Or to pay attention? I absolutely guarantee that the reason for the world's problems is that man has turned his back on God, and blocked him from their life because they didn't like Him telling them what they should do. You cannot block God without Satan rushing in to take over, and Satan's only aim is to create sin that leads to misery and death.
