Dr. Hsiung and the deputies,
I am unsure as to the procedure to follow as to how notifications will be responded to.
This brings up my concern now as to if a notification by me is still outstanding, could I send another notification about a different post, or would it be that the first notification be addressed or replied to before one could send a notification about a different post?
In regards that the policy here is that it is fine to discuss the actions we take and the policy here and to ask for rationales, and to post on the administration board a request to address or reply to outstanding notifications,I would like to know if there is a procedure to follow to have a reply, or the post addressed in the thread, when the notification has been sent and a post on the admin. board has been made that the notification is outstanding, and the notification remains outstanding as to if one could send another notification about a different post or need to wait for the first notification to be responded to?
Concerning my notification that I sent on April 9, if that was addressed before I send a notification about a different post, I think that the reply to the first notification could be helpfull in regards to the notification that I would like to send about a different post.

If I understand what you're getting at, it seems to me that the easiest way to resolve this is to not wait for an answer regarding the first notification. Simply notify administration of your concerns regarding any post and see what they do.Greywolf

Lou, I have trouble understanding your posts. It's hard for me to follow your sentences, which is no doubt my own failing. I'll try to answer you, beginning with what I think you're asking. If I've misinterpreted your question, please let me know.
It looks as though you're asking whether or not you can notify the administration regarding a post, when another of your notifications is still outstanding. The answer, as far as I'm concerned, is sure. I don't know when Dr Bob will be back, though, and so I don't know when you'll get a response about either request.
Right now, as you probably know, there aren't many deputies left here. I'm doing my best, and I promise to try to read any post which I'm notified of. Anything I'm unclear about, though, I will leave for Dr Bob. And I will say now that I usually do leave your notifications to Dr Bob, Lou. I'm sorry, but I don't feel qualified to respond to most of them, and as the FAQ says, deputies aren't required to take action on everything.
I'm sorry if that's not satisfactory for you, Lou. It's the best I can do for you.

You wrote,[...Anything I am unclear about..I will leave for Dr. (Hsiung)...I don't feel qualified to respond to most of them...].
It is my request to have dialog here with the administration concerning the notification that I sent on April 9, if that is the one that you write that you are not qualified to respond to.
My dialog will be to try to find another way to address the post in question than to wait for Dr. Hsiung to do so, perhaps by identifying what it is in the post in question that needs clarification so that there could possibly be the ability to address the aspects of the post.

Racer,
If you could post here what it is that is unclear to you,if there is something unclear to you in the post in my notification from April 9, then I could have the opportunity to clarify the aspects in question and other deputies and members could also have dialog concerning the aspects of the post here.
Maybe the post in question could be redirected to here? If not, a member could email me to have the post in question to referr to.

>Racer and other interested members,
In regards to this situation concerning outstanding requests to have notifications either addressed in the thread or have a reply via email or such, one aspect is concerning the {actions we take} and the policy here and the rationales, which are posted as to be fine to discuss.
It is about the policy and actions and rationales that I would like to discuss here, not the aspect of the post in question.
The aspects of the post in question could be discussed by email. If a member does not want to use their email, some have opened email accounts with Yahoo or other sites to enable their own email not to be used in this discussion.

>Lou, I'm going to ask you not to do that. I'm going to ask you to wait for Dr Bob to return and address your concerns himself, even though that means you'll have ot be a bit patient. Addressing any aspects of a post on the boards will be considered to be uncivil, and will be handled as such.

The aspects of the post will be done via email as in my post (C).
Dinah's post states ,[..if you have any comments about administrative {policies}...and to change site policy... they may be stated in terms of ideas...]. I am asking to explore ideas to change the site policy, and email concerning aspects concerning the post

Racer,
You wrote,[...wait for Dr. (Hsiung) to returrn and address your concerns himself...]
It will be fine for Dr. Hsiung to address my concerns when he returns.
Untill then, I would like to have discussion about the post in question within the guidlines here which I could do by using email for the aspects of the post and posting here concerning ideas to change the policy and such.
One idea I have is to set up a common email addresss so that members can send to that address and others can actuate the messages from the common email address, perhaps a deputy's email that the deputy could forward to others in the discussion.
Then perhaps this could work to have members comment on the aspects of the post and not have those comments posted here. Will this work?
