I just was worried if I blocked them out that Babble then wouldn't get any revenue from them?

Clicking on the ad causes the payment.

"Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant, unobtrusive Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money. Because the ads are related to what your users are looking for on your site, you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content pages.

The program is free, and combines pay-per-click and pay-per-impression advertising - meaning you get paid for valid clicks on the ads on your site as well as impressions."

A click by a real live person and not a script or other method designed jack up the number of clicks.

So if we occasionally click on the ads but then just x them out, that would be a good thing for babble, or doesn't it matter?
Thank you for your reply.

Weird, I've never have any ads

I guess its turned off by default on mine. However I have gotten emails for: penis enhancement, Asian Singles, and for some reason multiple ones for engagement rings. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm a female non-penis having white girl, and the engagement ring thing is just mean.

...ads for threesomes! Ha! If I, before I am very old and very senile, am blessed enough to find ONE good man that will be more than enough, thank you very much!

And I used to get the really errr....subtle ones where the title read, "wanna [F-WORD] buddy?"

Um, yeah. That's what I want. From an anonymous email sent to Lord knows how many people as spam.

Whatever. Wish Yahoo's filters would catch all the spam, but they don't.
