i have tried to enter chat.... I CAN SEE PEOPLE IN THERE RIGHT NOW...but it refuses to accept my password.
when i ask it to send me the forgotten password, it says 'reason you dont get the password sent to you is because you have not registered for chat...
thats crazy, as i have registered, i was chatting it it last week to you and others..!
so, just to humour the website, i try to register scentedgarden for chat, and guess what? it says, 'that username is already registered'!
how mad is that...lol
its 2am here in the U.k. and im awake, so id have enjoyed meeting in chat with you...
SCentedgardenas for the chat thing thats what happened to me the other night, except i could see my name on the outside looking in, you know when it shows you is in the chat room by name, just as i can see you are there now but i cant get in...?
well the other night , i could see scentedgarden was on the list of names in the room, and yet i couldnt get inside the room....
it was wierd ansd so eventually after trying everyhting i could think of i just went off line thinking, next time i restart my laptop everyhting will have gone back to normal...but obviously NOT..!!
anyone from admin , know how to post this into admin, or anyone reading this who works in admin, plz take some time to sort it out...
id appreciate it...AS THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!

THEN I ASK IT TO RESEND ME MY PASSWORD , AND IT SAYS WE WONT SEND YOU THE PASSWORD BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED..!!!
AND ROUND THE CRAZY MULLBERRYBUSHH WE GO...
COME ON SOMEONE AT ADMIN HELP SORT THIS OUT...PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Sorry this was so frustrating and upsetting for you :-( It's happened to me, too, and I don't like it, either.
This is a repeating error Dr. Bob knows about, but it is good to post here every time it happens again to someone.
He is the only one who knows how to work on fixing it, however. And he hasn't been around for a little bit, so I guess we all just have to wait.

I was just able to get into Room 1 without having to re-register. That might be a first for me.
I have no idea if this will help, but for now you might try updating your registration: https://dr-bob.securesites.com/cgi-bin/pb/signup.pl
I don't think that would change anything else unless you change any settings while in there. Also, make sure the email address is correct. AFAIK, it couldn't hurt, and maybe it will help. Otherwise, hopefully Dr. Bob will be able to make chat work more smoothly for everyone soon.

have just this minute registered...even changed my password to a brand new one, confirmed my registration with the number code...and went straight to chat to see if \I CAN NOW ENTER... GUESS WHAT?? same problem !!
so i'm now at a loss of what to say...i mean what to do,,im also at a loss for what to say, but thats to do with my therapy situation....better go to psychology for that part...
do you think Bob WILL help and BE ABLE to resolve it ? as i really do need to chat to people sometimes, and i had only just started going into babble..and it was helpful...
I HOPE BOB WILL LOOK KINDLY UPON MY POSITION...namaste

I think I've had some problems getting into chat too, but I managed to get around them....it was something to do with 'user not found' - I think with this I re-entered my details or something....and another time it was something like 'user already taken' or something - but both times I re-entered my data and I think I even had to re-register but I got there in the end.
I just tried now to see if I could get in, but there were no problems...
What does it say when you can't get in?

Sorry, your information got messed up somehow. Try registering for chat again, it should work now.

It won't be an issue now, but FYI changing your password in the Babble system doesn't change it in the Babblechat system. Not yet, anyway...

When u go to the chatroom do you have to clear at least an hour or more of your time to spend there?
I'd like to do it, but I'm on my landline and also it's difficult for me to sit here too long w/o something popping into my head I should be doing.
I tried it once a couple times years back and remember Fallsfall was usually there to greet me and talk. Where now Fallsfall?
Another issue may be I'm on mountaintime and seem to be getting up steam, early midday, about the time some of you easterners are running out of it. In the eve' I like to keep my landline open thinking 'someone will call' (ha!?).
Anyway, just wondering how it works for you all and if you feel it is helpful to you?
