Dr Bob please consider adding this word to your list of offensive language. I believe it meets your criteria.
I believe it would be better to asterisk the entire word rather than just one vowel in the case of disparaging or derogatory or offensive words or labels about others. This would seem especially appropriate for labels describing races, sexes, ethnic groups, disabled people, etc.
A single asterisk might be reserved for mere vulgarities if you wished.
GG I didn't think you had control, I thought you might have information. Thanks for directing my question to the proper source.

FAQ
Please don't be sarcastic, treat injury or death lightly, suggest that others harm (or use this site to exchange information that could be used to harm) themselves or others, jump to conclusions about others, post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down, harass or pressure others, use language that could offend others,.....
What exactly do I mean by "language that could offend others"? It depends, but will probably include words and phrases considered often or usually disparaging, obscene, offensive, or vulgar by Merriam-Webster OnLine. If you have automatic asterisking turned on (and don't bypass it), the server takes care of potentially offensive language, but some unnecessary asterisking may occur. If you turn off automatic asterisking, you have more freedom to express yourself, but you're also responsible for your language

> Uh? WHAT? So its like NOT offensive for me to say Bob is a moron?Sorry, I know this can be confusing. I wouldn't consider that "language that could offend others" (as long as you were calling me very stupid and not mildly mentally retarded), but I'd still consider that use of that language to be something "that could lead others to feel put down".
