I find it easier to follow what's going on if there are different colours. So I thought I'd go right now & try to change my colour.
I go onto Options,
open the menu on Colour,
click on the colour I want, for example blueberry
put the cursor into the box where you type things,
typed "test" or whatever,
hit the Enter key & the print shows up black!

**Right at this point, (assuming you're done making changes) you need to click the button below that says, "Use Above Options." If not, it won't record any of your changes. That should do it. Let me know...:-)

10derheart..I do not have the USE ABOVE OPTIONS buttoms...Alex was trying to help me one night..I am missing an area others have..maybe its AOL? help and thanks all

As gg said, try scrolling your scroll bar on the right down as far as it will go - you should then see the 2 buttons: "use above options" and "keep current options" - just below the blank space [box] with the title "ignore user."
If you still don't see it, maybe refresh your screen?
If still not, then............Dr. Bob?
