Is it civil for me to say negetive things about myself? A real life therapist would say no. But this is different right it's not the real world. So I am stupid, an idiot, fat, ugly, anxious, depressed, unable to work, agoraphobic and idiot, and I will add others when I get an answer. And no I'm not having a bad day and no things will not be different tomorrow and no I won't be younger tomorrow, no I won't be smarter, no I will not be kind to myself. I do not deserve kindness. Hi PJ
Some people find running themselves down in public entertaining. At least for a bit. And probably moreso for them than for anyone else. But I did it in therapy too. (Of course) Otherwise I'd need Waiting for Godot to cheer me up. I think it goes 'nothing happens, nobody comes, nobody goes, it's awful'. Works like a charm for me, but some have said it's not healthy. I'm reading "Atomised" by someone who's name I can't spell, and it's fun like that. Should I worry? Hmmmmm.
