The one you recommended on civility. I'm really enjoying it. I'm marking passages in it to read to my son. It really explains the power and importance of civility. So far it's not really been anything I didn't know, but it puts it into words far better than I've been able to.
I agree with you that it would be nice if Dr. Bob read it and whoever else wanted to read it and we could talk about it here.
But maybe we could do it without him.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
I think we can just be subversive and do all this behind Dr Bob's back.

....or incredibly cool!
I ordered it from Amazon a while back, with some others, but I wouldn't *allow* myself to read any of them - yet - 'cause I use books as escapes from my college work, housework, just about any obligation....
But **yesterday** I decided to relent only for that particular book. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw your post. I KNEW what book you meant before opening the post (well, obviously being on this board kinda gave it away...)
I'd like to try to discusss it, but my ADD-brain loves to skip around so I'm not sure I can make myself read it straight through...I really like it a lot so far.

I did get it myself, too, and if people wanted to read it together, I'd give it a try...
