Hi Dr Bob,
Apologies if I am misunderstanding the intended purpose of the website. I have posted in psychology about bipolar issues and would like it if you could post a reply.
I have posted here because of the advice in the FAQ about you reading messages.
Thank you
Ross

Dr Bob doesn't post any advice on here.. he only acts as the administrator, so if its a psychological question, then I'm afraid you won't get a reply

My understanding is...
He doesn't promise that he will read them all.
If we want to bring a post to his attention (because we think he might want to PBC it or block somebody or move it if it is posted on the wrong board etc) then we can draw his attention to the post by posting a link to it at admin.But...
He doesn't partake in the support / education thing...
We are supposed to do that for each other.
He just moderates here...

As Nikki and Alex said, Dr. Bob doesn't participate in that way here, but don't despair. Give your post some time to be read over on Psychology. There are lots of great folks here, and quite a few with a dx of bipolar. I'm sure you'll get some responses after a bit. If you want to know about meds specifically (I think you asked toward the end about that - you may want to also post a question over on the main board (plain 'Psycho-Babble')
I know it's frustrating to feel bad for so long without real answers. Hope you start getting some soon. This is an excellent place to start!

Above answers are on target. It's quiet some days of the week. Friday seems to have the most participation. Fondly, Phillipa
