I'd love to see something like that -- a lot of us need that sort of reminder, I think.
When I was still teaching, I'd try to end every lesson with a little check out: "Tell me three things you did well today?" And in our support group, when we're winding down, I try to have everyone list a couple of things we like about our bodies -- even if it's just the shape of our fingernails, which it sometimes is for me. Having something here, where we can both work on validating ourselves as CS suggested, and also offer up what has helped us -- wow. Wouldn't that be a great bonus for the site?
Thanks.

No, I meant the CBT, not the self esteem.

Sorry, but I think I need to work on that "report this post" button first. But in the meantime, would you like to propose an introductory sentence or two for the new board?

You are determined to break the illusion that you actually read all the posts - aren't you?
Sigh.

I've actually been wondering if everyone should go through the informed consent process (including a quiz) again...

"This is a board for support and education. It focuses on improving self esteem."
Not pretty but succinct. What do you say?

Maybe "employment" instead of "work", what do you think?
