Here's another request that Dr Bob do more work, just not fair, huh? Sorry, but this drives me to bruxism...
How about putting up a note on the top of the Meds Board mentioning that it's often better to respond to someone's answer to a post of yours via the board, and not through BabbleMail? For one thing, if I answer something on the board, it's not really a personal communication -- more like another voice in the conversation. And, I think more importantly, if the original question is posted on the board, chances are there are other people who also want the same question answered. I kinda think that those other people deserve to see the answer publicly, too.
Now, obviously these are only my own thoughts, on a matter that just kinda annoys me, and I can (and often do) choose to ignore BabbleMails that come through which I think would be better kept on the board. Heck, I could even turn off BabbleMail.
But I was wondering if this was something it was worth noting publicly?

In reply to Dr Bob, could you add a blurb to the Meds Bd?, posted by Racer on November 4, 2005, at 18:52:00
Could you ask the person who sent the babblemail if you have their permission to post their useful nuggets?

Of course, I do think that it might still be worth mentioning on the meds board.
By the way, I have gotten into private question and answer sessions with posters on subjects that neither of us wanted to make public. If it's something that someone's not comfortable discussing on the board, that's one thing, but if it's a question -- as this one was -- having to do with what dosage of a med I was taking, in reference to my posting that I had taken it, that's better left on the boards, isn't it?
OK. Maybe I'm still grumpy. Just kinda feeling a bit flu-ish, so it might be best to ignore me...

Nah, I see the difference.
Sorry you're feeling yucky. Have some tea?

What if you asked them to post their questions and said you'd answer them there? Sorry you're not feeling well,
Bob
