Dr. Bob, I know posters have announced name changes on this board, but are they required to?For example, for "so" in this thread -- http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/20050517/msgs/499757.html -- is he or she required to let us know how many previous identities he or she had or to let us know what they were?
For the record, I don't really care who he or she is -- I'm just trying to pin down what the rules are.

The poster did fulfill the requirements, on his/her second post, I believe, by commenting that Dr. Bob had not unblocked the previous name they were posting under. And the post was made on Admin.
I'm not sure there are any more formal requirements. He/she announced on Admin that he/she had posted under a previous name, or names.

Others here have answered your question, but I thought I'd wade in, too. I did not post my question because I thought that a board requirement was not being met. I was just curious and wanted clarification. The poster was not obligated to answer.gg

i know, gg. i was just wondering about the requirements myself. i didn't think you were. which is why i started this separate thread, to ask, as i was curious (not about the poster but about the rules).
