Clearly a board waiting to happen. Although I can also see that it would possibly draw some unwelcome Googling. But boy, could I use some guest experts.
Plus it would draw sex away from those boards where people might find it an uncomfortable topic.
On the other other hand, I can see the potential drawbacks in such specialized boards as Sex or Dissociative Disorders or Self Injury.

At about 5am this morning when trying to convince my body it *didn't* want to wake up yet, I though a computer supoprt board would be good..
We quite often get people asking computer advice, and theres a few of us here who are geeks and love nswering such questions *L*
But then I fail to remember to visit so many boards, would I actually remember to visit an computer one *L*

Well, if you've read Psychology lately, you'll know there is no one more sexually disordered than I. I don't *think* people think less of me for it, but I do think it's a topic some people might find uncomfortable.
It's hard to talk about at first, but once you get over the first hurdle, it gets a lot easier, as I've discovered in therapy. At first there were a lot of ummmm.... and you know...... Now the technical terms go rolling off my tongue. (I did have to look up a few new technical terms so that I could avoid slang.)

My blasted virus protecter keeps telling me that other computers are trying to access my computer and do I want to block it. Arrggh.

How do you connect to the internet? Is it dial up or broadband? And if its broadband do you use a modem or a router?
It sounds like the firewall is protecting you.. (always say no by the way!!) but obviously its a pain.
Does it give you an ip address when it says this? (like, xx.xxx.xxx.xxx)

I don't know the answers to a lot of that. :(
I have a cable connection, and I'm hooked up through a modem, then a network hub, I think. And it's Norton Antivirus who's giving me all the annoying messages. You'd think there would be a "Block all attempts" button somewhere on that message so that I wouldn't have to click it every five seconds (sometimes, not always).
