I thought the background colour of lilac/lavendar on the Psychopharmacology Tips page was comforting and easy on the eye. (Not that there is anything wrong with Babble's pale yellow).
What do others think about a Babble colour face lift?

I could really go for something tres Carnaby Street circa 1965/Austin Powers-ish, like hot pink and sunburst orange wavy lines and swirling hypnodiscs. Big flower-power-type symbols. Psychedelic electric-Kool-Aid-Acid-Test-graphics for Psychobabble. I realize that's all a bit conservative, but, still, it would add a dash of je ne sais quoi, non?
Or a pale robin's egg blue could be nice, too, I suppose. ;) Atticus

as long as its subtle, I'm cool with it.. but anything too garish would make sneaking in at work more difficult!! *l*

Wow, lots of ideas here lately!
1. One thought I had was that the "small town" boards, if they ever came to pass, which I think I'd have to say is questionable, could be distinguished by different background colors...
2. Or, what if you could choose your background color? Like you can now set the size of your message box?

BTW, I think it would be cool to be able to set your background colors, and change them at will. No one likes mod groovy pink and yellow more than me, but during a migraine, a nice soothing grey would suit.

Do some of you really have background colors? How did you get them? Thanks, Phillipa

Yeah, I usually change my yahoo mail color theme every few months. It's refreshing.
