Lou's request to DR.Hsiung

Posted by Lou Pilder on December 18, 2004, at 18:34:57

Dr.Hsiung,
I am requesting that you determine if the following is acceptable or not in relation to the guidlines of the forum.
The poster writes,[...Lou's response doesn't add clarity to this thread...].
I feel demeaned , put down and depreciated when I read that. I also feel that IMO that there is the potential for the statement to arrouse ill-will toward me. The poster did not write that it was his/her opinion, but stated it, IMO, as like a fact. I thought that I did the best that I could to clarify the poster's original post in the thread as to the 3-consecutive- post rule. Could anyone else done any better? And I also did the best that I thought that I could to clarify that I was posting administrative concerns on the board and not debating religion.

Dr-Bob,

The Faith board is my personal minefield since I repeatedly get blocked over the tenderness of feelings at the faith board.

I was hasty about my comment about Lou in my original post. I guess I didn't read enough intricacies into the 3 post rule. For that I do apologise (along with being hasty about it).

Blasting the merits of my request diverts my request. I feel demeaned by Lou by his diverting the issue away from my concern istead of talking directly to me with his complaint. Lou tends to be lengthy with his responses, which I read as intending to obscures my point to his favor. I deserve better responses than this. I am waiting for your response.

Lou defended his offensive Faith board post by encroaching on the general decorum of the Admin board; this is my concern. If he wants to defend his Faith board offense, please invite him to do so over at Faith.

Please consider a one or two week block if you can't see any merit to my upsettness with Lou's encroaching style of the faith board into the admin board.

Rod

Hi Rod, I don't quite follow the issue about a particular Faith post, but in general Dr Bob will re-direct discussions about civility or board guidelines over here to Admin. So if the discussion is about what's OK to post on Faith, normally it would be on Admin rather than Faith.

Tabatha,
You wrote,[...if the discussion is about what is OK to post...it would be on administrative...].
Thank you for pointing out this, for my post on the administrative board is a post about what is OK on the faith board. My intention is not to debate religion by posting the posts, but to have address to the administration concerning, in some cases, to have a post deleted.
Lou

Thanx »Tabitha» but I've over-played my hand (nm)
