Look carefully at some responses to my spaceship of discovery thread over at Social... I say X, and I'm taken to task for saying Y. I didn't say Y, I said X.
I'm not timid, but I do react to a perceived injustice. In the past, you cooled things down by blocking me from posting. I ask you to look through the posts and see if you can find what I claim I have found.
By applauding Sunny for what I saw was an open-minded conclusion, I am accused of claiming everyone else is closed minded. Judge Judy probably wouldn't agree. ...and I take exception to this uncivil tone being used.
I was also accused of NOT thinking there was more than one type of depression, which is a surprise to me since I was giving a message of hope that didn't include any quantitaive statements about any maladies, depression or otherwise.
OhByTheWay, my DSM-IV goes into detail about eight different types of affective disorders... I wouldn't leave that fact out if I were talking catagorically.
Please accept my apology for any tension this has caused. I will drop the topic and go on for now... Also, I need to buckle-down and focus on my work for a week or so. I'm not blocking myself, I'm just assuring you that my partial absense will be good for calming things down.
