Lou's request to Dr. Hsiung-ptaasf

Posted by Lou Pilder on October 25, 2004, at 15:39:52

Dr. Hsiung,
I am requesting that you make a determination as to if the following is acceptable or not in relation to the guidlines of the forum. I feel and it is my opinion that the verse in question has the potential to arrouse antisemitic feelings and the potential for others to think that the verse could put down those of other faiths.
The post by rayww has a link offered that brings up a verse from the christiandom bible. Then you can click on the verse and another page will come up from the book of John, chapter 3.
Then the verse 3:18 can be seen that reads:
[...He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God...].

Dr. Hsiung,
In the link above offered by rayww, I also feel that verse 36 has the potential to arrouse antisemitic feelings and also have the potential for others to think that the verse puts down those of other faiths.
[...he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him...].

Yes, but that's not the verse she linked to, so I'm going to let her post stand.

Dr. Hsiung,
You wrote that you would let the post in question stand. Your answer was that the verse in question that I feel and is my opinion, that it has the potential to arrouse antisemitic feelings, [...is not the verse she linked to...].
The verse does have the potential to be visible on the forum. So if one comes to the faith board, they could read that statement in question.
All of what could be seen has its origination with the link offered by her in the first visible post that leads one to verses from the bible. One has the opportunity to click on another line under another part to go further. So someone could see the statement in question ,on the faith board, by clicking on the lines provided, for they have that opportunity. One that comes to the faith board and clicks on all the parts offered by the poster to click on, has the potential , then, to think, that evrything seen in the post and its links, has its origin from the original post since they had to start with the original post to get to the statement in question and could not get to the statement in question, as far as I know, in any other way.
