I am slow to learn the ins and outs of the board. What is the quickest way to use the two frames in one window feature?

You're not being slow, it can be complicated! I'm not sure what you mean by "quickest", do you mean quickest to get to, ie, what to bookmark? That would be something like:

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/admin/babble.html

Or do you mean quickest in terms of reading posts? I just scroll down the left (main) window and click on posts as I go...
