Dr. Bob, how is this possible?

Posted by Larry Hoover on September 7, 2004, at 8:08:55

As can be seen in this thread, and the header in the following post, the spelling of the poster's name varies.

How is this possible? Isn't a registered poster name case sensitive? If so, isn't it against the rules to have more than one registered posting name?

Is it actually spelled differently, or just looks different because of caps. The system doesn't recognize caps or ampersands or any other funny things like that. You can actually have a bit of fun with your name if you like.

Larry,
I wondered this about a poster once. Case does not matter. I checked it out by posting under all caps GARDENERGIRL and it went through just fine. Made some people wonder if I had suddenly gotten expansive, I'll bet.

I looked at the thread when you posted about his within the thread. I think it's always spelled the same, but uses different case at times.

Regards,
gg

Thank you, Dinah and Gg/GG/gG/gg. You see, Bob simply ignored my previous post on the subject. A little information goes a long way.
