Dr. Bob. Rod seems to think that my question about whether those who seek mental health care are really more unhealthy than mankind as a whole is in violation of the civility guidelines ( with regard to him?).
If so, I certainly apologize as that was not my intent.

Since my post just happened to show up under his, perhaps he thought I was replying to him?
But if you check the in reply to.... you can see that I was replying to the original question and the general idea of how mental health is defined.

Bob, Sir,
We are certain to not run aground with you at the tiller. Keep up the good work.

PS: (((Dinah))) is really neater than she thinks she is... OBTW and FWIW, her discussion style tends to deflect what she can't quickly and easily grasp, but there isn't much she doesn't get right... I see her as only needing a gentle nudge to take the next step to becoming a therapist...

Um, Rod? Perhaps I missed something, but does Dinah want to become a therapist?

Wow. Then I must be pretty neat, because lack of self worth is not actually one of my problems. :)

Which is why I'm not quite sure how to take that statement... But never mind.
> I see her as only needing a gentle nudge to take the next step to becoming a therapist...
Gardnergirl is right. I really don't wish to become a therapist. But thank you anyway.

GG-
I'm no longer pushing or pulling... I just think folks like her who can adapt, improvise, and overcome, do good in the Marine Corps, and as a therapist....(joke)... Maybe I'm hearing only what I want to hear, but I hear her "getting it!" We need therapists who "got it" before they foisted themselves on poor unsuspecting clients.....
