I've been gone a couple days....and it looks like there's been no news. Frankly, I'm concerned. Does no one have a more intimate relationship with her, that would know anything about what's really happening? I don't think it would be breaking a confidence to offer a general statement.....anybody?

Larry, I have been on and off the boards since I joined Oct. 1 of this year. I had to take a break because I came in on the tailend of the last round with Kristen and of course I felt upset about it all. I hope she is okay. If it is a cruel hoax, I do hope whoever is doing it gets things under control whether through professional help or by whatever rational means necessary. Many people's illnesses make them do very unsettling things. I do hope she is alive and will find a way to conquer her demons. Also, I think the boards are a great tool, but I do believe that sometimes it can bring out cries for help that require very strict immediate medical attention. Having compassion but keeping a distance are necessary, as is the case for most therapists.
