There shall be no attorneys calling on my behalf. However a poster on PB is making the same sort of threats. Does your malpractice ins cover this board?I honestly CAN imagine circumstances where this board might give someone the final nudge towards self destruction. But I don't think you could be held liable. Who knows though? And what keeps one person from committing suicide could potentially drive another poster to do it.
I think it would be interesting to find out what kind of harm the board does to some people but I don't think I want to file an adverse event report. I think it would involve revealing more information than I am willing to reveal. And there's always a problem determining cause and event.
And the board helps sometimes too.

I would love to compare stories with you. About our respective Babble problems, and in my case how I learned to use the board in a way that was healthier for me (although I have to confess that I'm not totally clear on the how of that). But I hope that someday you also reach a place where you can get far more good than bad from it.
I did email Dr. Bob the gist of my problems on one of the occasions I "left" the board. I trust him a heck of a lot, and so I trusted him not to use my disclosures in a way that would harm me. I hope I never have cause to regret that. (I still am working on trust issues, obviously. LOL)
