I don't *think* he's Jay.
He just posted a link to Jay's site.
Or am I missing something?

I think JohnV is *not* blocked. I originally took his message to mean the same as you apparently did -- that JohnV was surprised at being able to post because he was supposed to be blocked (but I didn't remember him getting blocked, and I looked for it, as you probably did too.) Upon re-reading his post, I took it to mean that he worded it as he did to indicate that he thought Dr. Bob was being tolerant of letting him post info on Dr. Bob's site about another mental health forum other than PB, and that he did not intend to test the extent of Dr. Bob's goodwill by posting it more than once.
That's my take on it, anyway.

Actually it never occurred to me that John V was blocked. I thought I remembered his name from the meds board. But Dr. Bob blocked him for another two weeks for posting while blocked, so Dr. Bob must think he's someone who's blocked. ????

I remember the incident you're talking about but I thought that was someone else (don't remember who, just not JohnV). My mistake. Disregard my message then, as it completely does not apply if JohnV is actually blocked.

Below is John V's answer to my post above in which I pointed out that he was using the same yahoo e-mail address as Jay is using on his new board. I read it quickly and took it as a denial that he was Jay but a closer reading reveals that he worded his reply in a way that would make it possible for him to be Jay. He neither denies nor confirms.
Can't Bob tell if someone is posting from the same computer as another poster? Hasn't this come up before?Jay's ban would have been up in a few days. It seems like it would have been a gracious thing to just wait and post in his own name. Even sending in someone else to post messages for someone who is banned is not allowed. I don't think Bob has ever discouraged posters from starting their own boards and waiting a few days would have made it easier to publicize it. IMHO
John V's post:
I am a co-moderator of a board set up by Jay (there are 6 of us), and sorry if I shouldn't have cross-posted the same email. I didn't think it would do any harm, honestly. I hope you understand. Thank you. John

I was indeed mistaken. I did a search on the meds board for John V and didn't find any. It just sounded familiar somehow. Must be like one of those psychological experiments they perform. :)
Never mind my original post.
