I have a double post at PB2000. Did I do that, or does the server sometimes have a mind of its own?
TY,
Shar

It kind of surprised me, 2000 is so low-maintenance... :-) The server isn't *supposed* to have a mind of its own...

Should we start calling the server "Hal"?

Or wehat about Deep Thought for the server name...
(Deep Thought is the name of the computer that is assigned to find the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything in Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy!!)

Or, maybe 'Christine.' (The car in Stephen King's story that decidedly had a mind of it's own.)
Both of the others are very appealing. Hal is such a rationally insane entity, and (oh, now I've forgotten the second one's name) the one from HHGTTG was depressed (or was it bipolar?) and had a brain as big as a planet. Both great candidates for the PsychoBabbles.

Hmm, it may be your browser that has a mind of its own. Do you remember, was the site slow at the time? If your browser gets impatient, it may on its own try again (which is fine if you're trying to read a post, but not if you're trying to submit one).
I suppose the server could compare each post with the one previously submitted by that poster, ugh...

Yes, my browser was slow at the time. I don't know why. So, that could be the problem.
