o.k, I'm pretty much finished posting here, but can you please explain this blocking? You let Lou "have his way" for months (?), offending multiple people - this was brought to your attention multiple times and you did not act on it.

Dr. Bob, you obviously really do pick out certain people to "attack". Is it because you can't reasonable answers to the questions?

I'll get more specific after a walk...

can other babblers please comment on this? i know i disagree with the block, but am having trouble cognitively at the moment, i.e. I can't express in detail why I feel so strongly about this.

you don't have to agree, but I'd appreciate a discussion.

thanks.

though, there have been much blunter statements made about the whole "Lou Fiasco". But why didn't she get a "please be civil"?

I wish Zo had been more careful with this post, but I also wish Bob would cut her a little more slack. - She's been off more than she's been allowed to be on lately, and is missed.

She certainly is missed! I was just starting to enjoy her particularly Zo-type replies, and she's whisked away again... KK, I think she didn't get a PBC because she's been blocked several times. But the reasons for those blockings were themselves obscure or inexplicable (to me, to you too?) So now Bob is basing this block on old ones that were suspect anyway? I'm very upset, too. Seems so arbitrary, considering how much Lou offended people, and how many times people screamed to Bob to help, or pointed out particular examples of how Lou had been uncivil. Zo's isolation as 'Bad Girl of the Hour' has a hollow ring to it, somehow, for me.

sadly,

Wendy

Are you asking me to explain why I blocked Zo now or why I didn't block Lou before? If not blocking Lou earlier was a mistake, wouldn't not blocking Zo now be another one?

Sorry, what questions?

Right, see:

Being unpopular is different from being uncivil. If there are examples of incivility that I missed, I'd like to know, and I apologize in advance for not acting on them.
