Dr. Bob:
Will you puh-lease remove the med posts from the PPB board? They're sort of wrecking it. At this point, I sure don't care if they're deleted or moved to PB, but they shouldn't just be redirected, as they kind of mess up the theme of the board. Na' mean? People will continue to post med questions until they're taken away.

<People will continue to post med questions until they're taken away.>
Nope, that ain't no participle, hanging, dangling, dimpled, or otherwise.
It might be an awkward pronoun reference, as "they're" could refer to med questions or people. Alas, I used it to refer to posts, and so I am—you guessed it—wrong, at least in intention.
Still, until med questions are taken away, people will continue to post them, so I am partially correct in usage. The pronoun should be as close as possible to the antecedent it defines, which is not, in many cases, the subject of the sentence, and sometimes that makes a sentence awkward. (If you think about it, the sentence would work this way, too: Until they're taken away, people will continue to post med questions! But where shall the people be taken?)
Alas, you're not a good driver unless the passengers feel comfortable. So, my friend, points for you.
Thanks for playing. (It's easy to catch me on spelling and typos, if I catch get myself first.)

P.S. I'm glad that a chance to taunt me has lured you out of your self-imposed exile, if only for a moment!

I just redirected them. I think that might clarify the theme of the board more effectively than removing them... Maybe some people aren't distinguishing between "psycho" and "psycho-psycho"?

Oh, no. I thought you were my friend in sloth; a devotee of crumbs, chaos, clutter, etc.
Well, I am grudgingly happy for you getting your place cleaned up...I guess.....8-)

Just how much advance notice DO you need before I come to visit?
I still think a surprise attack would be much more effective, although it might get me killed....

Greggers,
this is how it always goes....people don't take me seriously when I say my place is a pit, then they 'drop in' and have to act all not-horrified, and I have to shoot them in the back when they leave. So, just to make things easy on YOU, sweetie pie, how about a good 30 days? I can probably have even the dogs beautiful in that amount of time!
You've been warned...

Hmph, I think I take this as a presumption that you don't believe in "talk" therapy. Why would you make the assumption that the next would be "illogical" babble? I do think psycho-logical far the "therapy" board would be a good choice.

Now why would you think this? Sometimes it is the only logical conversation I can get in a day. Hmph ...

Dr. Bob said this, not Jane.
> Hmph, I think I take this as a presumption that you don't believe in "talk" therapy. Why would you make the assumption that the next would be "illogical" babble? I do think psycho-logical far the "therapy" board would be a good choice.I think he was kidding--you know, playing on the psycho-LOGICAL babble opposite? Get it?
I guess I'm in the minority, but I don't find it at all hard to distinguish among the different boards. I like the cleverness of the names--Psycho Babble, Psycho Psycho Babble, Psycho Social Babble. (Faith needs something clever--Bible Babble?)
Certainly, though, Psycho Psycho could've been called "Psyche Babble," and maybe the faith board can be "Psyched Babble." But then we would definitely have a problem with posting on the wrong boards.
Still, if they were called MEDS, TALK, FAITH, and THERAPY, that would be kind of, well, dull. It would be like Repo Man, with beer called BEER and food called FOOD.
Tough to please 'em all, ain't it?
