This is just me thinking (sort of) - do you redirect for organizational reasons, perhaps for easier access to the info for your reports/articles? If so, that makes much more sense to me than just redirecting to redirect. And I won't complain again about how threads lose their momentum when redirected (though they do ;)).

I redirect to keep the separate boards separate. There's plenty of discussion about separate boards in the archives...
