Perhaps Psychobabble could use a new section. We now have PB, Social PB, PB Administrative and PB Book Club. How about PB CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE? "Civil Disobedience" could be for the members who feel very frustrated and angry and want to swear, but don't want to get blocked from PB for swearing.

**************************************************Well, yes, you're right. The unmonitored Usenet groups are notorious for that sort of thing.

Some of us should be allowed to, we are mature enough, it would only be true and useful feedback, coming from us. .. why, you could even say it would be a *kindness*!
But no.

There are the Usenet groups if you want to let off steam. Or set up your own Board and mention the url in a message to PSB?
There's no factual feedback I can think of that can only be done using swearing or abuse. If someone's winding you up or you disagree with them strongly, you can say so without being offensive or swearing.
A culture of mutual respect doesnt sound so awful to me, particularly when short messages often mean we can misunderstand each other, and the person at the other end can be vulnerable.
