> You are too funny, really!

> It's hard for some people to live under the rule of one man, especially when you sometimes question that man's judgment. But aren't we all sort of guests in one man's house? Managing these boards can be a full-time job, and I'm sure the rewards are minimal. Many of us are simply grateful that we have a place to come and whine, share, blab, cry, moan, and laugh--a place we know others are less likely to judge us.

> That said, I think Dr. Bob (the real one) does understand that people don't have to agree with each other when they post, and that they can disagree with civility.
>
> But sometimes he makes mistakes. We all do. A week of posting inability is a pretty small price to pay for someone else's mistake, especially when being here is our privilege, not our right.
>
> I would ask Dr. Bob, however, to allow us a chance to plead our cases should such a disagreement occur and to show that he is flexible enough to reconsider a block that may have been a mistake.

We're all free to email Dr Bob and ask for re-instatement. I am pretty sure he has over turned some bannings after such an email.

Personally, the times I;ve been banned, I knew way in advance (ie, the second I hit confirm post!).
