Removing name from button?

Posted by somebetter on July 15, 2001, at 11:58:34

Did I make a mistake somehow when I registered that would allow my name, 'somebetter', to appear on the 'messages specifically for you' button? Is there a way for me to correct it? Thanks-sb

Thanks Nikki- so, probably what is happening is that when I said it was OK for my password to be stored, I am automatically signed in each time I open this site? And that is why my name appears when the site comes up? Is it possible for me to undo this? - sb

It's a COOKIE thing. Sigh...things moving slowly upstairs.

Yesterday some friends gave me a ride to my car. I left something in theirs. Saw them still trying to get out of parking lot so peeled out, pulled up behind them and honked. Then noticed the car was parked and empty. I thought that was pretty funny, then later, friends laughed and reminded me they had driven the truck, not even that car. I'm doing a lot of this lately. sb

You can do it yourself if you know your way around cookies, but FYI there's also an "erase cookies" link in with the other ones on each main page...
