I understand that EPA is supposed to be the more important (in terms of mental health) than DHA.
This being said, I get quite a benefit from 'DHA only' (with minimal EPA) supplements, that seems to be diminished with higher EPA content.
EPA only supplements do not agree with me at all. It's very hard to describe.

DHA is supposed to be slightly more of an activator, from what I have read.
Have you given any thought to micro-dosing antidepressants? Micro-dosing most meds seems to be really catching on, with some good results. I have a friend doing well on 2.5mg's of Prozac (it is available in liquid form.) She also takes 1.25mg's of olanzapine. (2.5 split in half)
Just a thought..
IMHO..etc..

Yeah, you could say that I microdose venlafaxine (usually 12.5mg / day for a few days in a row). It helps for the first few days and then I start to get apathy and feel better off of it.
