I just noticed, recently (knock on wood) that my Latuda helps decrease my usual sloth/slob behaviour..lol. I take the garbage out, clean up, and all that, much better. (Not perfect..but, an improvement.) I have always been a natural sloth most of my life...but I had some bad developmental disabilities as a kid. Problems with co-ordination, a lisp, reading comprehension, math..etc. But, thankfully with special classes, and amazing, loving parents, I improved. Then, when I went to university, I did excellent in political science, honours grades, but started taking high doses of elival, and dropped out in third year.
But, recently, prescribed Latuda, and decreasing Effexor, daily, I find the Latuda gets me up off my slothly butt, and I am hugely (not manic, though) productive. I use clonazepam and beta blockers every few days to temper anxiety.Finny, but Abilify helped a TINY but with this...maybe more...but the inner restlesness was so, so horrible.
Also, this reduces my need for opioid painkillers, knock on wood.

Hey, thanks!! Below I talk about the herbal tumeric, with COQ10 that also seems to help my motivation.
Thanks again,
Jay :)

How much Q10 are you taking? Ubiquinon or Ubiquinol? I take 30mg of Ubiquinon, which led to a blood level 1,6mg/l. Therapeutic would be more than 2,5. Normal range is 0,9-1,4.

Sloth is one of my sins, too. I fight it, sometimes more and sometimes less successfully.

Hi, Jay.
Do you have bipolar depression?
I wonder if Latuda is effective for bipolar depression but not for unipolar depression.

Well, I have laid off the CQ10, feeling it was adding to my anxiety and inner-restlessness. I have dropped most of my meds, because I feel I need to rebuild.

Yes, I was dx'd with BP2. It just saddens me that in my almost 30 years of being on meds, we most certainly haven't gotten far, at ALL! :( Like, we are still using the crank-start motor, when we should be swooshing along in high-tech ultra-sedans!!
